I watched the first two episodes of Wynnona Earp (I guess they were shown together) because CASSIE MADE ME. On the positive side, the actress who plays Wynnona is very good and charismatic and was good to watch. Her sister was good too and their interactions were the best part. But it was so cheap. I know it's SyFy but I thought after The Expanse they were maybe spending more money on stuff. But this was a bit like Grimm/Sleepy Hollow if they had no budget at all. The writing wasn't really great either and I don't think they explained the whole situation well. I didn't get why they were talking about a third sister sometimes and if she was supposed to be in the flashbacks. The action was pretty poor too.

Must have been leaked before its time. It's for the new Archie show on the CW. Except it's not going to be a romantic teen comedy, it's going to be a dark murder mystery. BECAUSE THERE ARENT ENOUGH OF THOSE ON TV RIGHT NOW RIGHT? WHY NOT THROW IN AN APOCALYPSE AND SOME ZOMBIES AND YOU'LL HIT THE WHOLE LONG LIST THAT MARKETING SENT OVER?

I watched the third episode. It was slightly better, I guess. I like Wynonna and her sister and the lesbian cop and their interactions. But some of the other acting was really dodgy and it still feels really cheap. The writing was a bit weird too, like at one point she said "I'm not used to this kind of penetration!" but no one would ever say that and it sounded dumb. I wouldn't have watched it if I hadn't been online doing other stuff at the same time. But I'll probably end up watching more in the same situation!
