I finally talked to my boss this week. He doesn't sound like the brightest dude. At the end of the conversation he said, "Well now I have your phone #"
Yes, I gave it to him in my previous emails, but he failed to notice. Maybe I am supposed to say, "Here is my phone #" instead of just including it in my signature.
I am slowly giving up on this job. It is taking too long for them to get back to me. He didn't even know when/where etc etc.

I think I missed this first time around.
The boat I worked on goes up lake 4 days a week. There is another boat that travels daily.
I have a microwave! And washer dryer, the usual things. I just don't even know if my work has a microwave or fridge or restroom even-like do I Have to walk 3 bldngs over to use the restroom? I DON'T KNOW!
My work is going to be 2 miles away from the residence. I will either walk, ride a bike or have a vehicle to drive-but I"m not sure about that yet.

It is not off the grid per se, I mean I have electricity and I now have my starlink dish that a lovely couple is letting me borrow over the winter. It is not outdoors, but in the wilderness.

I hate Alexa's new voices. One of them has a vocal fry AND THE ONE I LIKED, Or thought I liked-IS REALLY SARCASTIC SOUNDING! WTF. Like are you mocking me Alexa? I really need to record some of the conversations. (I mean they aren't real conversations-you know)
How is living in the mountains going? Fine, its going fine, a couple of evacuations-add Hip Waders to the list, depression meds, the knowledge of propane heaters and how to fix my own car and now I'm in debt and this place is really hard and its getting old!
I have spent more time in town this winter than I have up here and I discovered that many people don't even go shopping anymore-they just pull up Amazon and ask me, "What time do you want this delivered tomrrow?" WTF
We have to wait a week sometimes for stuff to get here.

my doctor says my BP is too high
I have been looking at jobs elsewhere just as y'know-looking. But then I feel slightly bad like, "The going gets tough, the tough get going" like I can't hack it-but I don't care-honestly I"m not making a lot of $ up here at all-I am just here for the experience and now the experience is over-I'm over it!

I feel ya. I go through the same seasonal stuff during winter. I hate it but I also love it because I love hibernating lol.
