Yeah, I lived in Arizona for a couple years. It was weird for the temperature to just feel like whatever the temperature is. lol

It was weird today.
I wore jeans, a T shirt and a thick button up shirt that doubles as a jacket-I thought I would be taking it off, but I ended up buttoning it up because the wind picked up, but then I would be standing in the sun and get warm, and then walk over to a shaded area and get cold again.

Where I work is in the shade and cold, I only get warm when I have to walk to the main area of town. Its bonkers!

also I am sad that I had my last lake day and last swimming day. I was going to try to get one more time in the water and one last kayak trip, but I think it is over for the season.

My weather has been lovely for the past couple weeks.

I am feeling sick thinking about how bad this hurricane is going to be for Jamaica. If you live on an island, and a cat 5 hurricane hits, where the fuck do you go? The entire island is going to be in the hurricane. It is now forecast to hit the island right about in the middle, which means the coastline on the east side of the storm will have 15 - 20 feet of storm surge. They may get 40 inches of rain in some places, which means they will have mudslides out of their mountains. It will be like what the people in the mountains experienced from Helene last year. It's going to be catastrophic. I really hope there are ships out there ready with medical aid, food, and water.
