I was kinda scared when Irma came, but this one might be worse. It is frustrating because they don't even know and the hurricane center updates every 6 hours and it's never any clearer. lol
Where do you get your updates from? What is the best source?
Do you get alerts to your phone or email? We have that here for fire season.
If you go to this page https://spaghettimodels.com/ it has links to every tropical weather alert. It's a bit confusing at first, but if you look at the top of each thing it tells you who it is from, and then you just click on the one you want to see.
According to this morning's new report I am just outside the cone of uncertainty. I will probably get 50 - 70 mph gusts sometimes, but it won't be nearly as bad as it was predicted yesterday morning. The hurricane is nearly at a cat 5 right now. The people south of Sarasota are going to be in really bad shape. This is going to be devastating for them.
I am alive! Ive been trying to get online for an hour. My internet went out way before the storm, and it is still out. Cant even use my brothers hotspot to get online. The power never went out, which is weird! Anyway, just wanted to let you know i am alright. I dont know how long my internet will be out. My sister has this shitty satelite internet, so maybe i will try to come back later, but typlng on this tablet sucks! Lol
MY INTERNET IS BACK! (the most important thing, obv)
I was 59 degrees this morning, can you believe it? I will spend a few hours picking up tree limbs, mostly just little stuff that gets stuck in the lawn mower. We didn't have any damage here. It looks like a bomb went off down south. I can't even imagine.
