Young Nuns

Where do they come from? When you see an old nun it makes sense; you can imagine women wanting to be nuns in the olden days. But young nuns? Whither them? Why would a young woman sign a nunnery contract, what with the internet and all? What's the appeal? Are young nuns, in fact, clones constructed by the church to keep the numbers up? DISCUSS.
