I think this happens every few years lol. I get annoyed because I've watched the show for twenty years (wow that's a long time) and I think you're being harsh on it, but it's just your opinion and you're not saying I'm a psycopath for enjoying it so it's fine really and I should have just said "WELL I LIKE IT."

At least we can agree Fawlty Towers is the greatest comedy of all time and it has a total dick as the main character who is a total dick to his customers!

Yes we can surely agree to that.

But I think the tone/style of Fawlty, and the fact that it is played broadly in front of a live audience, makes it easier to laugh at it all because the ridiculousness is blatant. Curb is shot like a movie (almost a documentary), and without the live audience and broad acting giving the viewer clues as to how to react, it's more up to the viewer to decide how to react since the tone/style is more subtle and sleek.

Every time I watch an episode now I find myself more and my on Manuel and Polly's side. That's why the "I know nothing!" bit 'Communcations Problems' is my favourite moment and I firmly believe Manuel knew what he was doing.

Fond memory as a child, riding in the very back of a station wagon with the goat named Ivan that we just picked up. He was horny and head butted me and I head butted him back. (His horns weren't quite grown yet)
