The Last BBS

was that time of year
when it seemed everything was going to be allright?
It was like, school just started, and we lugged through September but then October hit-and I was on cloud 9. I looked forward to talking about cotumes, halloween parties, ways to scare people, ways to scare myself.
It was that nice transition into the holidays. (The other holidays)

It still totally has that charm for me....but really it isn't going to make my month brighter looking forward to the end of the month when I can put on a mask and pretend to be someone else for the night.

I'm still working on this one, going to try another direction.

Not really, no.

Halloween was cool but the stress leading up to it wasn't, if I didn't know what costume I would wear.

Also the night before was usually scary & pain in the ass (Devil's night) when we would all be soaping each other's car windows and throwing eggs at things all over the neighborhood GOOD TIMES.

I'll probably go out and watch the 49ers game (a friend is a huge fan).

No Halloween party for me this year though.

I remmber when I was a child we all liked Halloween but adults didn't care about it (because they're adults.) But now as soon as it's October 1st, every adult I follow on a Twitter is like "OOOOH IT'S SPOOKY HALLOWEEN TIME, WOOO I'M A DEAD BODY!" It's weird.

Especially if they're dead bodies.

I am going to walk around town where the shops open up and hand out candy. Small Town fun. But I'm not dressing up!

Don't do it in a windowless van!

I have lived in apartment buildings for years and years, so I can't remember the last time I had trick-or-treaters come to my door.
