I need a show
One that is like I Zombie or Sabrina the teenage witch or the Good Witch (probably no one here knows that one). It could be like Stranger things or a milder version of Yellowstone.
I've been watching "How to get away with Murder" and Suits and those shows are so heavy. I need something with a slight light hearted beat to it while still having a dark side.
DOES THAT EXIST?!

Am I going to regret watching "One flew over the cuckoo's nest"? It is from 1975. Seems Netflix is showing a bunch of old stuff.
I have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Peacock.

It's a heavy movie with many funny moments. Not exactly a feelgood movie but fascinating.
There's Shadow and Bone on Netflix, another sassy costumed period adventure show (although it just got cancelled so there won't be any more coming besides the 2 seasons already there).
I just started watching The Bear on Hulu. It's supposedly a comedy but it's pretty dark and gritty, about a trained chef who takes over his family's dysfunctional Chicago restaurant after a death in the family.
I have a long list of new shows to try, I keep comfort-watching the same shows over and over instead lol...

What are some of your comfort shows?
I had to turn it off, it was so loud lol and my internet has been crappy tonight anyway so I just read for a while. I do want to get through it eventually since there are so many references to it.
I got rid of Hulu once it stopped carrying SNL. I need to see if I watched all of the Ms Maisel-I thought some new ones came out recently. The place I am staying at has a shit ton of dvd's. I'll do inventory on them sometime, mostly pg stuff.

My comfort shows are:
RuPaul's Drag Race
The Great British Baking Show
The Graham Norton Show
Doctor Who (modern)
Downton Abbey
Heartstopper
Star Trek TNG / DS9 / VOY
Northern Exposure
old Adult Swim shows (anime & comedy)
actually it's a lot more than this but I'd have to start ranking them to decide which others to include and I don't want to go down that OCD rabbit hole...

Fun fact: The show was filmed in Roslyn, Washington, even though it takes place in Alaska.

If you need a silly show Ghosts is cute, PLUS it has Rose McIver. Or you can watch the Brit version, which doesn't have Rose McIver, but is still cute and funny.

Thanks Cassie!
@Eggs I was thinking it was filmed in Canada like every other show here.
