Bless the good-looking zombie gods! After a lot of begging and pleading on our part, iZombie has promoted Aly Michalka to series regular for Season 3, according to Entertainment Weekly. The actress, who plays Peyton Charles, the best friend of Rose McIver's leading lady Liv Moore, was a recurring guest star for the show's first two seasons on The CW.

An attorney, Peyton is also Liv's roommate, and she is involved in a potentially messy romantic entanglement with Rahul Kohli's Ravi. At the end of Season 2, however, after being kidnapped by Mr. Boss's goons, she was rescued by Blaine (David Anders), likely complicating matters.

iZombie is currently scheduled to return at midseason.
